Meet Peter Van Alstyne and Deborah Rieback
Peter and Deborah started Acuity Home Watch in early 2017 and are proud of the fact that they are Accredited members of The National Home Watch Association. The membership insures that Peter and Deborah have passed a background check, met rigid standards of the home watch industry and that their company is insured and bonded. They have met every criteria for membership with the NHWA.
About Deborah
Deborah lived the early years of her life in New Jersey. She has lived in Florida for most of her adult life and maintained homes during the summer months when temperatures and humidity levels are quite high. Deborah weathered many notable hurricanes and knows the importance of properly preparing a home for a hurricane and the extreme weather conditions of the summer months.
Deborah is licensed in real estate and knows how valuable home watch services can be to the owners of unoccupied homes.
About Peter
Peter resided in Upstate New York most of his life and experienced extremely harsh weather conditions. He moved to Hilton Head, South Carolina in 2005 for the winter months and became accustomed to the hurricane seasons. Peter understands the complexities of maintaining two homes.
Peter holds a Community Association Manager License in the state of Florida (CAM) and has earned the designation of a Certified Home Watch Professional from The National Home Watch Association. Certification is achieved by participating in a home watch curriculum and passing an examination based on the NHWA’s Best Practices. Certification is validation that a home watch professional is committed to excellence and will uphold the very highest standards in the home watch industry.
