Welcome! We’re Deborah Rieback and Peter Van Alstyne, the owners of Acuity Home Watch, a dedicated Home Watch service serving the Treasure Coast Area. As long-time residents of the area and passionate home owners ourselves, we understand the peace of mind that comes from knowing your home is safe, secure, and cared for—even when you’re away.
With decades of combined experience in property management, home maintenance, and attentive service, we founded Acuity Home Watch in 2018 to offer homeowners reliable, professional oversight for their most valuable investment. That’s why every visit we make is thorough, detailed, and documented, so you always know the condition of your home.

About Deborah
Deborah lived the early years of her life in New Jersey. She has lived in Florida for most of her adult life and maintained homes during the summer months when temperatures and humidity levels are quite high. She weathered many notable hurricanes and knows the importance of properly preparing a home for a hurricane and the extreme weather conditions of the summer months.
Deborah is licensed in real estate and knows how valuable home watch services can be to the owners of unoccupied homes.
About Peter
Peter resided in Upstate New York most of his life and experienced extremely harsh weather conditions. He moved to Hilton Head, South Carolina in 2005 for the winter months and became accustomed to the hurricane seasons. Peter understands the complexities of maintaining two homes.
Peter earned a Community Association Manager License for the state of Florida (CAM) in 2016 and holds the designation of a Certified Home Watch Professional from The National Home Watch Association. Certification is achieved by participating in a home watch curriculum and passing an examination based on the NHWA’s Best Practices. Certification is validation that a home watch professional is committed to excellence and will uphold the very highest standards in the home watch industry.
